In addition to her performances, Ms. Rönmark is committed to the education of young musicians. She has involved herself locally in the public school system by coaching students at several High schools, including the Farmington Hills “Day for Strings” and the Troy High String Camp, as well as given presentations of her performance based clinic “Music and Sound” at several Middle and Elementary schools. As a DSO musician, Ms. Rönmark has also given sectionals to the young violinists involved in the Metropolitan Youth Symphony as part of their annual Side-by-Side program. In the past, she has taught for the Downriver String Players Association, and coached several string ensembles in Ohio, Michigan, and the Meadowmount School of Music in New York. Ms. Rönmark holds a Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree with Honors from The University of Michigan. She currently maintains a private studio in Troy, Michigan. |
